Sze Ling's Just In Time, Painfree HypnoBirth
My water broke by 1.15am.
I woke up and washed my hair before departing to Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) from Batang Kali.
I double checked whether it was water broke or it was pee leaking after I got into the toilet.
I was not so sure as no water came out after I sat on the toilet bowl.
Then I started to feel the soreness came (mild contraction just like menses pain).
It was 1.22am after I took my bath.
I woke my husband aka driver up and told him that our baby is coming out soon.
He asked sleepily: "You sure or not?"
I was thinking of having home birth when he asked me so.
I said I'm sure because I can feel the contraction already.
Lucky us, there was no police block or bad traffic when we were speeding to hospital at that hour.
I kept on visualized the crowning roses and kept myself relaxed during the ride.
Anyway, I have also prepared myself to give birth in the car as the contraction has been 2 mins apart when we were entering the highway.
Arrived HUKM by 2.15am.
Told the nurse in charge that I'm in labour already as the contractions were 1 1/2 mins apart.
Still they insisted to check how many cm dilated I was.
The doc said I was 8 cm already.
But I'm sure baby was coming out anytime which also means I'm already in 9-10 cm (my own estimation).
They quickly called the labour room to get prepared while sending me up.
I was relieved when I was in the labour room and breathed the baby out when I'm ready. Obviously not them as they were still trying to get my blood pressure reading and this and that...
Baby's head was out before the blood pressure machine showed the reading.
They were impressed and asked, "You came here just to "teran" and let baby out is it?"
I just smiled.
My husband rushed in hoping to see the birth of his baby but he was late.
Baby has already laying on the warm bed after daddy done all the payments and forms filling.
I was so grateful that I did not feel pain like what my mother in law and others experienced.
I am also confident and very sure how ready my body is for labour.
Everything is under our own control.
